Me…. About me? I don’t fricking’ know. I’m weird. Leave me alone. Or don’t. Its whatever. Hi how are you. You can call me Jinx. Simply because I am a Jinx. Not in some stormy clouds, melodramatic way. Its just that lots of thing fall and break when I am in a room. I avoid glass cups, bowls, and plates. I also trip a lot. Bump into things. Mainly this is just some weird personal project with absolutely no direction or plan for the foreseeable futures. I’m just gonna go with it. See what happens.
Interests
- Computers – I have always been a tinkerer. I don’t really specialize in anything. Some cyber security stuff, in theory(HackTheBox & TryHackMe). I gone through a handful of programming languages over the years. The first was lua. From there I learned some Java(Not much, only a few months), then C++ for a bit. Then I got stuck on Python for a while because of my general laziness and it just makes making basic thing so goddamned easy. Its like the slump buster of programming languages. You can do anything with and its easy to do, but it has its consequences. And it also aint no marriage material, that’s for sure. So somehow I landed on learning rust a few days ago. I was intrigued after reading a little bit about how it worked. Then I heard someone say that the compiler forced its will down your throat until compliance is achieved, and that sold it for me. Ive been a Linux user for years. I used Mint Linux for most of that time, because, you know, I’m lazy as shit. The past two years I completely stepped away from all of this and have recently returned to it over the past month. Also, I’m so sorry, but I switched to Arch. I swear I’m not a douche about it. I swear on my life you will never seen a neofetch screenshot on this site. I just like the clean feeling you get. It feels sterile, almost….sexy. Also super into system architecture, networks, and handling information of any kind(data science, transmission of data, storing of data, transforming data). I find concept of information and ideas to be the most fascinating thing that is part of being human. I love language for this reason also.
